Leslie KR Anderson, PT, MS

Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New England and a Master of Science in Business from Husson University. Leslie possesses  33 years of Healthcare experience  starting as a Physical Therapist, providing high-quality, direct care to patients throughout Aroostook County, Maine. Leslie quickly moved into Healthcare leadership, serving in a variety of roles, including Director of Ancillary Services, HRSA Grant Administrator and Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, Leslie has focused on Project Management and Process Improvement, including overseeing major renovations of hospital clinical areas, major capital equipment acquisition and installation and aligning capital projects with Federal and State regulations.

 Additionally, Leslie has 10 years of Grant Writing and Grant Administration driven by her desire to improve patient outcomes across Northern and Eastern Maine. She has served as Grant Administrator on both Federal and State grants. Leslie holds an extraordinary award-receipt rate of 68% on submitted grant proposals, with a portfolio of grants-awarded that exceeds $4M. Leslie has also worked with local Federally Qualified Health Centers and Rural Health Clinics to evaluate their grant programs, correct program deficiencies and establish objectives and goals that align with grant program workplans. Leslie continues to serve as a Grant Evaluator for both Federal and State agencies, including HRSA and MeHAF (Maine Health Access Foundation).

 Leslie is passionate about working with healthcare organizations as well as other non-profit organizations to improve patient care, strengthen healthcare facilities and healthcare processes. This passion includes engaging with grant funding sources to bring financial support to help meet organizational objectives.
